Christmas Fair at Blenheim Palace

At the end of November I decided it would be a good idea to come home from a night shift, get straight in the car and drive to Blenheim Palace to visit the Christmas fair. To be fair it was not as bad as it could have been, I got in my sleeping bag in the back of my mum's car and sleep the whole 2 hours there.

The christmas fair was brilliant and definitely worth staying awake for, it was huge and there were lots of interesting stalls. I managed to get a few bits, including some delicious christmas candles, including one that smells of Gingerbread. We also picked up a lovely christmas plate and gravy jug that we are going to use when serving our christmas dinner.

The stalls were spread out throughout the grounds of Blenheim Palace and were split up into different sections, including arts and crafts, jewellery and food/drink. As tends to be the case, the Food and Drink section was my families favourite, especially the lots of free samples. We picked up some fudge, mulled wine, delicious biscuits and a christmas pudding.

The decorations around Blenheim Palace were stunning, there were Christmas trees and wreathes everywhere and the place just made you feel so christmasy.

I would def recommend a trip to the Christmas Fair at Blenheim Palace, especially as you could incorporate a trip to the fair with exploring the estate and grounds at the Palace too. I will def be visiting again next year, I just hope I won't be on night shifts the night before ;)
