I love a good concert, to the point that last year I went to 3 concerts in a week with a dance show thrown in as well at the end of the week.
The week started with a trip to the O2 in North Greenwich on Monday to see Ed Sheeran who was brilliant. There were 4 proposals during the concert, which made the news the next day.
On the Wednesday, my friend Lucy and I drove to Manchester where we saw John Legend. John Legend was hands down the best concert I have ever been to, he was flawless. The concert was very stripped back and was like we were sitting in his recording studio just listening to him play. We then stayed over night and went for a yummy American diner breakfast the next day before driving home.
On the Saturday, I ventured back to the O2 with my friends John and Chris and my sister Lisa to see the Big Reunion Boyband tour. I had seen the original Big Reunion tour which had taken me back to my teenage years and been such a fun night, and the Boyband tour was no different. Its surprising how the lyrics to songs just come back to you from where they have been stored in your brain for years and years. It was a brilliant night, filled with lots of singing, dancing and fun.
To finish off the week I went to see a salsa/ballet inspired dance show at the Peacock Theatre, which was excellent. All in all it was a great, albeit busy week.
