For my birthday my friend Naomi treated me with a ticket to the Cake and Bake Show, and so in October myself, Naomi and Lucy set off to Earl's Court to taste lots of yummy cakes. The show is huge full of stalls either selling baking equipment or yummy cakes, and they give out free samples (my fave bit). We managed to buy some delicious brownies and fudge to name just a few treats, which did not last long in my house.
They also have chefs and bakers doing masterclasses, but unfortunately this time we did not get a chance to to attend but we will next year I am sure :) One of the highlights of the show was the stunning showstopper cakes, which this year included a giant crocodile, a tiger and lion. The cakes are so inspiring and I would love to be able to make something as beautiful.
After the Cake and Bake show we went for lunch by the River Thames and then walked from the London Eye to the Tower of London, where we say the poppies. It was a fantastic Sunday Funday!!!!!
