I am hoping this is the start of some more regular blogging, fingers crossed. I have a lot of adventures I want to share with everyone.
Now lets cast our minds back to a warm, sunny Saturday in July. Myself and my family took a trip up the M40 to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for my birthday. I managed to convince everyone to have a look around the palace, which was beautiful. I really enjoy learning about history and as it is the birthplace of Winston Churchill there is lots of history to indulge in. We then explored just a small section of the huge 2,000 acres park and had a picnic by the lake. There is so much to do and see at Blenheim Palace including walking trails, a butterfly house and the giant 'Marlborough' maze, which is the second largest symbolic hedge maze in the world.
It was such a lovely relaxing family day.

I would definitely recommend people visiting Blenheim Palace if you have not been there yet. At the moment they are doing a brilliant deal where you buy a one day pass and you can then upgrade your ticket for an annual pass for free, so you can visit anytime you want.
We did just this and so a few weeks later we took another trip to Blenheim Palace to watch some jousting. My mum and brother had seen some jousting before and said it was brilliant, and so I was intrigued to go along and see what it was about. My only reference to go on was the film 'A Knights Tale' and I must admit it was like we had just stepped onto the film set. If you get the chance you should def check out some jousting, especially if you are a fan of the film 'A Knights Tale' :)
